Our church name, Emmanuel, is one of Jesus’ names. It means “God with us.” We believe that Jesus is God and that he has come into this world as a human being. He is God with us. And because he’s God with us we have hope for now and the future – even in this troubled world.
One of our goals as a church is to share the word of God – the Bible – and the love of Jesus Christ with our local community. In the Bible we learn about Jesus – who he is, what he came into this world to do and what he’s still doing in His world and people’s lives today. We want to share God’s Word, the Bible, and show his love to those around us.

Jesus calls us to love him and our neighbours too. We do that in practical ways. Teaching the Bible, education for Preschool children, caring for the weak and vulnerable and many other things besides. You’re invited to come to one of our services and learn more – we’d be delighted to welcome you.
