We believe that Jesus’ call to love and serve our neighbours extends to those in other nations and people groups.
We support a number of missionaries working in various places around the world. As a church we have sent individuals to work with the following mission organisations:
Wycliffe Bible Translators
Worldwide, 98 million people have no known Scripture and do not have access to the story of God’s love for his people – the story of the Bible – in the language that they understand the best, their ‘heart’ language. Millions more don’t have a translation underway and need one. Of the 6,918 languages in the world today, only 513 have a complete Bible. Wycliffe Bible Translators believe that the Bible is the best way for people to come to know and understand who God is. Their vision is that by working with churches, organisations and individuals from around the world all people will have access to God’s word in a language that they truly understand.
