Children's Church, Creche and Teen Talk
Children’s Church runs every Sunday at Emmanuel during the 9.30am Morning Service in three groups for primary aged children aged four to Year 6 as follows:
Explorers for children aged 4 to Year 2 in the G.7 Room.
Pioneers for children from Year 3 to Year 4 in the LG.1 Room.
Hikers for children from Year 5 to Year 6 in the F1.1 Room.
We also have a staffed Creche for 1-4 year olds in the LG.3 Room and a self-service Creche facility for 0-1 year olds in the G.6 Room.
After the 9.30am service, there is a Teen Talk group for secondary aged young people, meeting in the G.6 Room.
We have a number of activities for children (and their parents) at Emmanuel.
For very young children, there’s our EBC Tots Group on Wednesday mornings during term time. Emmanuel also operates a vibrant Pre-School and for older children, there is Discoverers (primary school) and Pulse (high school) on Monday evenings.
We believe that child protection is very important, which is why we have a Safeguarding Policy.
Childcare at Special Events
We sometimes offer childcare during special services or courses that we are running. Our workers are police (DBS) checked and childcare is offered in a safe secure room with suitable toys and activities. The room is in the same building as the event and often just off the main meeting room.
