I was born and brought up in Newcastle Northern Ireland where the beauty of God’s creation was all around me...the mountains sweeping down to the sea.

I believe we are made in the image of God and something of our creator is in us all. For me it’s the joy of being able to use my hands…knitting and sewing, baking and giving hospitality to others.

My parents took me to church and taught me of God’s love for me and his sacrifice on the cross in my place. At the age of 7, I knelt by my bed and invited the Lord Jesus into my heart and life, to be my Saviour and Lord.

My life has known difficult times, the death of my Mum when I was 13, leaving home for University, studying in Manchester for a year: and blessed times, a Church family, meeting and marrying Simon, my children and home, my work with children.

In all of this I have known the importance of learning from the Bible, reading it and trusting what it says, for it is God’s word and He makes no mistakes;

"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Jesus is the friend above all others and I would encourage you to read more about him and what the Bible says of him. He said:

"I am the way, the Truth and the Light, no man comes to the Father but by me."
