We believe it is our responsibility to create a safe environment for both children and vulnerable adults attending activities run by our church.
Our Safeguarding Committee comprises children’s and vulnerable persons’ advocates, staff advocates and is chaired by one of our Elders. It is responsible for all matters concerning safeguarding in the church, including training and police (DBS) checks for anyone volunteering at Emmanuel.
