We believe that children are a precious gift from God and we aim to provide a safe environment for them to grow and learn.
Our Children’s Church aims to do just that. Children enjoy games, singing and Bible stories in a friendly and informal setting.
Children’s Church now runs every Sunday at Emmanuel during the 9.30am Morning Service in three groups for primary aged children aged four to Year 6 as follows:
Explorers for children aged 4 to Year 2.
Pioneers for children from Year 3 to Year 4.
Hikers for children from Year 5 to Year 6
There is now a staffed Creche for children aged 1 up to 4th birthday in the Preschool space during the 9.30am service and a non-staffed/self-service basic creche area for 0-1 year olds.
After the 9.30am service, we run a Teen Talk group for secondary aged young people. In this group, older children have a more serious discussion about the morning’s sermon, the Bible and what it means to be a Christian.
All our Children’s Church staff and volunteers are DBS checked and several are qualified primary school teachers.
